Welcome to Greater Brisbane Netball League

The Greater Brisbane Netball League (GBNL) began in 2021, replacing the Queensland Premier League Zone 6 competition.

GBNL competition is managed by netball associations and caters for players turning 16 or older, in the year of Competition, and includes divisions 16 years, 18 years, 23 years, and Opens.

GBNL is committed to providing a safe, fair, and inclusive netball environment where people from all communities can contribute and participate.

We are thrilled to share the news that our GBNL Umpire Coordinator, Jamie Matthews-Maher, has been awarded 2024 Performance Official of the Year at the recent Netball Queensland Awards.   

Jamie works tirelessly on and off the court and is passionate about supporting and developing umpires, it's great to see his contribution to team white is recognised officially by Netball Queensland.  

Congratulations Jamie!!!
